Buyers should clarify IQF frozen storage temperature, frozen sample handling, pre-shipment storage, loading assumptions, reefer container requirements, temperature monitoring expectations, shipment documents, destination timing, and responsibility boundaries before committing to a frozen sourcing route from Egypt.
Cold-chain assumptions should be explicit
The RFQ should state required storage temperature, whether a data logger is needed, expected loading condition, transport mode, destination, Incoterm, and any buyer-specific cold-chain instructions.
Samples and shipment are different risks
A frozen sample may perform well while a full shipment has different handling, loading, and transit risks. Buyers should review sample conditions and commercial shipment assumptions separately.
Documentation visibility
Where relevant, shipment documents, loading notes, storage references, and communication updates should be kept visible during execution follow-up.
Send the IQF product category, specification, cut/grade, volume, destination, documents needed, and target timeline.
