Overview
Brix is high for a frozen fruit at a minimum of 16.0, which makes Egyptian grapes suitable for applications where added sugar is being reduced or removed.
Grades, cuts, and formats
These are the formats commonly traded from Egypt. They serve different applications rather than representing quality tiers, so the format should follow the finished product, not the price.
Whole seedless
Caliber 15-20mm diameter. Used where the grape is presented intact — fruit salads, frozen snacking, dessert garnish.
Halves
Cut format for applications where the grape needs to distribute evenly or where a smaller piece size is required.
Thompson Seedless
Green variety. The most widely available of the three.
Flame Seedless
Red variety with earlier harvest timing.
Crimson
Deep red variety, generally later in the season.

- Harvest runs June through October with peak in July, August, and September.
- Microbiological limits: E. coli under 10 cfu/g, Salmonella absent in 25g.
- Currently offered into EU and GCC markets. Confirm destination-market documentation requirements early, since this product has a narrower established route than strawberry or mango.
